A bientôt!

Bonjour Lynn, oui, ça va, ça va. Et comment tu as passé tes vacances ?
Lynn
Oah cool. Tu t'as participé à un safari ?
Michelle
Michelle
Ok, alors on va fêter ton 16 e anniversaire.
Bonjour, tu vas bien ?
Sarah
Tu as raison. Trois langues, ça suffit!
Sandy

I live in a little village, called Wincrange.Wincrange is in the north of lUxembourg . Wincrange isn't very exciting, it's quite boring .There is the cultural centre of the rural community, the primar school, an the town hall. There is also a Chinese restaurant and 2 petrol stations. There is a major road crossing our village, that's why we have a lot of through traffic. But there is also much nature, and I quite like this. Annick

Cindy from Stockem
Dear friend
How are you? I haven't heard from you for a long time so I thought I could write you a postcard from Luxembourg . As you know I live in the north of Luxembourg in, a small village called Stockem. In Stockem there are only twenty houses. My house is in front of the church and behind the playground. It is house number 9, if you visit me one day.
There are 4 farmers. Around my village there are fields, woods and a lot of cows.
In the north of Luxembourg there is more agriculture than in the south, which is more industrial. You can't do a lot in my village because it's a very quiet place but you can relax and walk through the woods if you want.
When you are here we should go to the Chinese restaurant but we must drive there. It takes 5 minutes to get to the next village.
Hope I to see you soon.
Don't forget to write to me.
Hugs and kisses,
Cindy
Claire from Dahl
Dear friends,
How are you?
This is a photo of the village I live in.
It's a small, beautiful village with a lot of nature.
Everybody knows everyone and the most of the people are friendly.
In the World War II, Dahl was a big battle field.
We have a lot of old buildings and agriculture.
Our village has a primary school and kinder garden and a local fire brigade.
Dahl is so lovely and I don't want to leave my home.
That's enough about Dahl.
Goodbye
Love,
Claire
Claude from Troisvierges
Dear friend,
How are you? I'm feeling very well. I live in the north of Luxemburg. The name of my town is Troisvierges. We have a cinema, two swimming-pools, on indoor and on outdoor, two soccer pitches, a campsite, tennis fields, a school and a lot of other interesting things. I hope that you are going to visit me soon.
Have a nice day!
Claude
Daniel from Clervaux
Hello, my name is Daniel, I` m fifteen and I` m from Clervaux. I hope you` re having a good time, because I am. Here in the postcard you can see Clervaux. Maybe you can see that we have a beautiful castle, in which there is a very famous exhibition, the Family of Man. It` s one of the most famous exhibition in the world. And I can also see our church on the left...
Clervaux is in a valley and it's surrounded by a wood in which there are many footpaths.
I have lived in Clervaux with my family since I was born. There aren't many shops, but the view is fantastic, isn't it?
On the right you can see the castle, on the left you can see the church.
And between both buildings you can see the old school which is now a music school.
Best wishes
Daniel
Eric from Wincrange
Dear friend
How are you? I haven't heard anything from you for a long time, so I thought to send you a postcard with a description of my village.
I live in a new house in Wincrange in a small village.
Wincrange is in the north of Luxembourg . It's a small village in the countryside where everybody knows everybody. I have always lived here and I really love it. In the village I do my favourite sports and activities or meet my friends.
I occasionally go to a Chinese restaurant with friends, to the pub or in a fish and chip shop. There are also many little firms. To do the shopping we can go to a little shop near a petrol station.
I would be happy to tell you more about my region one day.
Goodbye!
Eric
Guénaëlle from Reuler
Dear friend,
How are you?
I haven't heard from you for a long time.
I will tell you something about my village.
I live in a village in the north of Luxembourg , called Reuler.
It's a lovely small village which is beautiful with all its fields and woods. It lies on a hill and in the valley there is the town of Clervaux .
There are about 150 inhabitants. It's always very quiet but in the morning at 8 am there is a lot of traffic because all the people drive to our primary school.
In our village there is a pub and a hotel.
There are still three farmers with cows and pigs.
I like living there.
I hope you will to tell me about your town.
Bye, bye
Guénaëlle
Julie from Asselborn
On the picture you can see our village a few years ago.
I live in a little village in the north of Luxemburg. It's called ‘Asselborn' and there are about 400 inhabitants. It's the biggest village in our commune, Wincrange. We have a lot of farmers and a lot of farmland. In summer there are a lot of opportunities to go walking and in winter we can go sledding. It's a nice village. A few meters from the centre there is a hotel-restaurant called ‘Vieux Moulin', that means ‘old mill'. Along the hotel runs a little river. We have a little shop which sells books, notebooks... and an association of people who embellish the village by planting trees and flowers.
Bye and see you
Julie
Kelly A from Boxhorn
Dear friend
How are you?
I `ve decided to write you because I want to tell you a little bit about my village.
I live in Boxhorn, a small village. There isn't really anything interesting for young people.
There aren't any pubs or shops, just a hairdresser.
People who really like walking in nature are in the right place.
It's very quiet and I like this. Most people are friendly but not all of them. The landscape is particularly nice, at least that's my opinion.
Greetings from A Kelly
Kelly N from Troine
Dear Friend
How are you?
What's new?
I'm fine ,I haven't heard anything from you since last summer, so I thought I will get in touch with you.
As you know I live in the north of Luxembourg , in a small village called Troine.
In my village there are almost only farmers, and fields with a lot of cows and horses. There are 240 inhabitants.
There is a grocery shop and a coffee bar too.
My village is at the border to Belgium .
My house is on a hill, it's an old, white house.
If you have time one day, you can come for a visit and I'll show you around.
I'd be happy to see you again ,I'm really excited. Don't forget to write to me.
Goodbye
Big kisses
Kelly
Kevin from Wiltz
Dear friend,
I thought that I'd write you a postcard because I haven't heard anything from you for a long time. How are you? I'm very well, I hope you too.
I live in a town called Wiltz, where I go to school of the LNW. Here in the postcard you cannot see that we have a castle in Wiltz where there are a lot of exhibitions. In the top of the picture you can see the strike monument. It's a big tower which is very old.
I have lived in Wiltz with my family since I was born and it's very beautiful there.
Best wishes,
Kevin
Kim from Noertrange
Greetings, dear friend,
How are you? I haven't heard from you since last year, so I thougt I should write to you. With this postcard, I will describe you my village.
As you know, my village is called “Noertrange”. It is north of Wiltz on a hill. It is not very high, but a hill is a hill. It is a very little village, there live only about 300 people, but it is also very special: There's the cottage of one of the greatest wood cutters of Luxembourg. There is also a doctor's cottage and a little airfield for small planes. Around the village, there are some small forests and some maize fields.
Best wishes,
Kim
Laurent from Pintsch
Dear friend,
I have heard that you will visit Luxembourg , so I thought you could come to visit me and stay here during your visit. Pintsch isn't as big as towns you may know, it is a lovely small village on top of a hill. The only thing special we have got is “The one and only”
The only point is Luxembourg where a degree of longitude meets a degree of latitude, so Pintsch isn't important but it is special.
It would be nice if you stayed at my place. It would be cheaper than staying in a hotel. It's a pleasure to invite you. I'm awaiting your response and looking forward to your visit.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Bye
Laurent
Lynn from Wilwerwiltz
Hi, how are you? I haven't heard from you for a long time.
I'll tell you something about my village. I live in a small village called Wilwerwiltz. It lies in a valley and we have big meadows and huge fields. It's almost always quiet here and the people are lovely. My house is big, we have a lot of rooms. It's my father's house, he has lived there with my grand parents and my aunt and uncles.
Every weekend the teenagers go to our pub. It's a little pizzeria and the food there is delicious. We have a safety standard authority where people have their cars safety-checked before they they take their cars to the road.
I hope to hear from you soon, tell me about your village.
Bye, Lynn
Marc from Heiderscheid
Dear Nobody,
How are you? I haven't heard from you since you left Luxemburg.
I'm feeling very well.
I live in the little but beautiful village, Heiderscheid in Luxemburg.
There's a soccer field, a bowling center, a Camping, and a swimming pool.
I send you a picture so you can see where I live.
I hope you'll to write me soon.
Bye.
Marc
Michelle from Selscheid
Dear friend,
How are you?
Let me tell you about my village.
It is a very small village located in the north of Luxembourg .
There are only 60 inhabitants. We have one farmer, one doctor and one pub.
It is always very quiet in Selscheid. There are mostly elderly people, but more and more young people are coming because they are building a big city with 27 houses.
Around our village there are a lot of fields and woods. We have a wonderful view of our neighbour villages Knapphoscheid and Derenbach. We have very beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
I like living in Selscheid, it's a very nice village.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Bye bye
Michelle
Monja from Goesdorf
Dear friend,
How are you?
This photograph shows you the village I live in, called Goesdorf. It isn't very big, but it's a small village with friendly people where everyone knows everyone.
We have a café and a mineral mine which is been visited of many people. And it's always funny in Goesdorf, there are a lot of fests like the theatre or anything else. Goesdorf is also a commune, and there are 6 villages in it.
Round about and in our village is a great agriculture; we have a lot of nature, fields and woods.
So I've talked enough about Goesdorf.
Bye-Bye
Monja
Nadine from Dorscheid
Dear penfriend
How are you? I'm fine. You know I come from Dorscheid, I have never told you anything about my village. Dorscheid is the in the north of Luxembourg between Hosingen and Marnach. A three-lane road divides the village in two parts. Dorscheid is very small, it has just a hundred inhabitants. And because it's so small there aren't a lot of people who know it. When people ask me where I come from, and I say I come from Dorscheid they often say, that they don't know it. here in Dorscheid there aren't any shops or big buildings. The pride of the inhabitants is their club “di duerschter” This club organizes a lot of festivities, like the barbecue. Although our village is very small, I am happy to live there.
Written by Nadine
Sandy from Wiltz
Dear friend,
How are you? What `s the weather like? I haven` t heard from you for a long time so I thought I would write you a postcard from here. I live in Wiltz, which is a small village in the north of Luxembourg . We haven` t got many sights. We only have a brewery, which is situated near the church and the outdoor swimming pool, which is called `Kaul`. We also have a strike monument, which is interesting to see. It reminds us of a strike in World War II when a lot of people died.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Love Sandy
Sarah from Wiltz
Dear friend,
How are you? Are you still alive? Yes?... I hope so! I haven't heard from you since we met in your town last spring. So I want to tell you a little bit about my own town. It isn't as big and exciting as yours but I hope you like it.
My town is called Wiltz and is in the north of Luxembourg .
We have a sweet castle in “Oberwolz” near the shopping street, and a lot of monuments like the “ Strike Monument ” or the “Tank”. In “Nidderwolz”, where I live. Here is an old but lovely hotel and a campsite with an outdoor swimming pool. My town is also famous for its beer which is called ‘Simon' and the traditional “Gënzefest” parade.
I hope to hear from you soon,
Love Sarah
Stephanie from Wincrange
Dear friend!
How are you? I haven't heard you for a long time! So I thought I could write you again!
I will describe you my village now. I live in Wincrange, a little village; there are 3160 inhabitants. The municipality Wincrange is made up of 27 little villages.
Wincrange is the greatest municipality in Luxembourg . There is also the regional primary school for the 27 villages. This postcard is an aerial view of our village.
I hope you'll write back as soon as possible.
Tom from Harlange
Dear friend,
How are you? I'm very well; we haven't been in touch for a long time.
I live in a small village named Harlingen ; it has a church, two soccer fields, a bakery, a primary school and a camping. My village is in a valley and is between Watrange and Bavigne.
Greetings from Harlange and from Tom.
Vanessa from Wiltz
Dear friend
How are you? We haven't been in touch for a long time, so I hope you will answer this postcard as soon as possible. I live in Wiltz , it's a small town with about 4,567 inhabitants. It was founded in 1824.
The city of Wiltz is one of the most important commercial towns of the Grand Duchy. Wiltz actually consists of two places: on the one hand the lower part of town (Niederwiltz), on the other hand the upper city (Oberwiltz). Niederwiltz has the impressive dean's church. Sport and leisure offers, in particular the sport airfield in the nearby Noertrange. The events of “the European theatre and music festival” take place annually on the open air stage and in the church in Niederwiltz, as well as the gorse festival -“Genzefest”- on Whit-Monday.
So I wish all the best at school. I'll hear from you soon.
Yann from Tarchamps
Dear friend,
How are you? I have not heard from you for a long time, so I thought I' ll write to you. I hope you want to visit Luxemburg one day, so I' ll describe you Luxemburg a bit, so you know how interesting Luxemburg and my village are. My village is called Tarchamps, is a really small and lovely place.
Tarchamps also has its history. It was destroyed completely during World War 2, but the inhabitants built it up again. Now it is very lovely place to visit. People who like Nordic Walking come here, because the landscape is very beautiful.
Unfortunately Tarchamps has no place to go out in the evenings, so it is a bit boring. I hope that I' ll hear from you soon and I wish you a nice year.
